Scheduling & availability

No. Oregon Fingerprinting is an independent fingerprinting provider — we are not an IdentoGO or Fieldprint location. Some employers, agencies, and licensing boards require you to use a specific vendor, so please review the instructions from your employer or agency carefully before booking. Not sure if we're the right fit? Call or text (503) 536-2326 and we'll help you confirm before you pay.
Book online anytime at our scheduling page. Pricing and available times appear for your selected location as you book.
Yes — we do same-day appointments and welcome walk-ins. Call or text (503) 536-2326 and come in, or book online for the soonest open time.
Hours vary by location and are shown in the scheduling system when you select where you'd like to be seen.
Call the office at (503) 536-2326 and a representative will help you reschedule.
Hold on the line and you'll be transferred to the next available representative for assistance.

Pricing & fingerprint cards

Prices vary by the type of service required. You'll see exact pricing during booking at the scheduling page.
Yes. The fee is for the service itself. Two fingerprint cards are included; additional cards beyond two have a small extra fee.
Yes, but you'll need to supply the FD-1164 card — I don't stock them.

FBI background checks

Electronic submissions usually return in about 30 minutes through an approved channeler. Mailed fingerprint cards take about 8–12 weeks.
By default, results are returned electronically by email. Tamper-proof copies are also available by Regular Mail, Priority Mail, or FedEx Overnight.
No. FBI Channelers are not permitted to send results to an address outside the United States.
Your criminal history record — arrests, charges, convictions, and dispositions reported to the FBI — plus personal identifying information (name, date of birth, fingerprints).

ATF & EFT files

Yes. I provide ATF-compliant electronic fingerprinting and generate EFT files on-site for eForms upload.
After your form is received you'll get an email noting the status as “submitted.” For updates, contact the ATF at (877) 283-3352. Wait times vary and the ATF publishes current processing times.

LiveScan, ink & FDLE

LiveScan captures and submits prints digitally — a faster, cleaner process. Ink fingerprinting uses FD-258 cards and is mailed when electronic submission isn't available.
Electronic transmission across state lines is available for Florida only. For all other states, I provide printed FD-258 cards.
Yes — I'm an authorized vendor for FDLE electronic submission. Just provide your ORI number when you book.

Apostille

A federal apostille is $350 for the first document and $200 for each additional — the same flat federal rate no matter what type of document it is. It comes back in 7–10 business days, the fastest turnaround in the nation, with 2-day shipping included (versus 5–8 weeks on your own). Have your federal document ready (for an FBI background check, get your report first), then schedule an apostille appointment and submit it. Documents issued at the state level go through the state apostille process instead.

Specialized services

When LiveScan isn't available, the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education requires FD-258 cards — which I can provide.
Yes. Schedule an FBI Departmental Order (Identity History Summary Check) for personal use.
Yes — in-person notarization at our Beaverton office (call or text ahead so we have a notary ready). For mobile notary, loan signings, and estate-planning packages, our sister company The Notaryous LLC comes to you across Portland Metro & Clark County. See notary services →

Bring one valid, unexpired photo ID with your signature: driver's license, state ID, U.S. passport or passport card, military ID, federal government ID, tribal ID, green card, Employment Authorization Document (EAD), or a foreign passport with a U.S. visa.

Services we don't offer

No — please contact IdentoGO (IDEMIA) for HAZMAT fingerprinting services.
No, SWFT (Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission) fingerprinting isn't available here.
