An FBI apostille authenticates your FBI background check — the FBI Identity History Summary — through the U.S. Department of State so a foreign government will accept it. Because the FBI report is a federal document, it's authenticated federally, not by any state office. The rate is a flat $350, plus $200 for each additional document in the same order.
