Applying for a Florida license from Oregon or Washington? Florida requires your background-check fingerprints submitted electronically — even from out of state. We're an authorized FDLE vendor, so we capture your prints and transmit them straight to Tallahassee. One of the few ways to submit to Florida across state lines.
Florida requires fingerprint background screenings to be submitted electronically to FDLE and the FBI — including for out-of-state and international applicants. You can't just mail a card to most Florida agencies. As an authorized FDLE vendor, we transmit your prints electronically from right here in Portland Metro.
Who needs FDLE fingerprinting
If a Florida licensing board, employer, or agency asked for a fingerprint-based background check and you're not in Florida, this is the page for you. We capture your prints digitally and submit them electronically to FDLE using your ORI number — clean, compliant, and routed to the right agency the first time.
Have your ORI number ready. An ORI (Originating Agency Identifier) tells FDLE which profession and agency your results go to. Your licensing board or employer provides it. Booking an appointment? Enter it during booking. Walking in? Bring it with you.

Cross-state electronic transmission is a Florida thing. For any other state, we've still got you — with clean FD-258 cards.
