Also called an FBI Identity History Summary. We submit your fingerprints electronically through an approved FBI Channeler, so results come back fast instead of the weeks a mailed card can take.

• Processing time: about 30 minutes electronic; 8–12 weeks for mailed fingerprint cards.
• How you get results: By default, electronically via email. Tamper-proof copies also available by Regular Mail, Priority Mail, or FedEx Overnight.
• What's included: Your criminal history record (arrests, charges, convictions, and dispositions reported to the FBI) plus identifying information.
• For personal use? Yes — book an FBI Departmental Order (Identity History Summary Check) for personal reasons.

ATF-compliant electronic fingerprinting for online applications. We generate your EFT file on-site, ready to upload directly to eForms.

• Who needs this: Consumers, manufacturers, and dealers submitting ATF forms for various transactions.
• After you submit: You'll receive an email marking the status as “submitted.”
• Checking status: Contact the ATF directly at (877) 283-3352. Wait times vary — the ATF publishes current processing times.

We're an authorized vendor for FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) electronic submission — one of the few ways to submit fingerprints electronically across state lines.

• Bring your ORI number: You'll need to provide it when you book so your submission routes correctly.
• Cross-state note: Electronic transmission across state lines is available for Florida only. For every other state, we provide printed FD-258 cards.

Whether your agency wants digital LiveScan or a physical fingerprint card, you're covered.

• LiveScan: Prints captured and submitted digitally — the faster, cleaner process when electronic submission is available.
• Ink (FD-258): Traditional cards for agencies that require a physical card or when electronic submission isn't an option.
• Included: Every service includes two fingerprint cards. Additional cards beyond two are available for a small extra fee.
• FD-1164 cards: We can print on FD-1164 cards, but you must supply the card — we don't stock them.
• Bring your own cards? The fee is for the service itself, so the price is the same whether or not you bring your own cards.

Need a document authenticated for use in another country? A federal apostille certifies documents through the U.S. Department of State. The federal rate is a flat $350 — it doesn't matter what type of document it is — plus $200 for each additional document in the same order.

How it works:

• Have your federal document ready (for an FBI background check, schedule that first and receive your report).
• Schedule your apostille appointment.
• Submit your document — we handle authentication through the U.S. Department of State.
• Your apostilled document ships back to you, 2-day shipping included.

Many countries want your document translated as well as apostilled. We handle both, so it's one order handled by one team. Translation runs $50 to $75 per page depending on whether you need a certified or standard translation and the destination country.

• Turnaround varies by language and country. Some, like Portugal, take a little longer, and we'll confirm your timeline up front.

• Childcare / DCDEE: When LiveScan isn't available, the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education requires FD-258 cards — we can provide these.
• North Carolina agencies: FBI fingerprinting and cards for NC agencies that accept mailed submissions. (Not authorized to transmit electronically to the NCSBI.)
• Personal / identity history: Fingerprinting for personal reasons via an FBI Departmental Order.
• Archive service ($75 per person, per year): Fingerprints are securely archived so you can get reprints or resubmissions later without a new appointment.
• Notary public: In-person notarization at our Beaverton office — call ahead so we have a notary ready. For mobile notary and loan signings, see our notary services (handled through The Notaryous LLC).
